The Jamaica Autism Support Association (JASA), in order to promote the awareness of autism throughout Jamaica, joins the World Autism Organization on Thursday, April 2 at12:00 noon in a world wide release of balloons in front of the VMBS building on Knutsford Blvd. This kicks off the World Autism Day as established by the United Nations in April 2008.
April is Autism Awareness month and JASA would like to use this month to share with as many people possible about autism in Jamaica. There will be a special church service at the Bethel Baptist Church on Hope Road Sunday, April 5,2009 7am in observance of this disorder and the challenge that the parents endure.
